For more than 30 years, I’ve been actively involved in the fitness world! I’m Rob van der Velden and I’m the founder of Personal Training Zuid. After my study at Academy Fysical Education I worked at a school Teacher Fysical Education for 2 years. After many sports on high level ( gymnastics, soccer) during my time as teacher I got acquainted with Kickboxing. What I loved about it was that it covered both the physical and mental aspects. That’s how I approach life: the physical and mental must be in balance with each other.
At Personal Training Zuid, our training courses aim to be challenging and vary in combination. Ultimately, this will lead to a more healthy and vibrant life that enables you to easily overcome the demands of daily life such as work, family, interpersonal relationships and stress. I am now 62 years old, married, father of 1 daughter and 4 sons. I still keep fit 4/5 times a week with indoorcycling, running, strengthtraining, and CrossFit.
